Your branding on emails

Add your logo, colours and footer so every email to your customers looks like it comes from your business.

What it is#

Every email your customers get from RotaRound carries your header, your colours and your footer. It goes out under your trading name. The only mention of RotaRound is one small Powered by RotaRound line at the very bottom.

When to use it#

Set it up when you start, and change it if your logo, colours or business details change.

How to do it#

  1. Open Settings and go to Business details, under Your business.
  2. Under Logo, press Upload logo and choose the file. You can crop, zoom, rotate and fit it before it is saved. Wide logos stay wide.
  3. Press Save business details. Your public email, phone and website here also feed the email footer.
  4. Go to Branding, just below.
  5. Under Email header, leave Show your logo in the header instead of company name ticked to show your logo. Without a logo, write the Header text.
  6. Choose the Header colour and the Button and link colour. When you upload a logo, colours are suggested from it. Your own choice always wins.
  7. Under Email footer, keep the standard line built from your business details, or type your own. Press Reset to my business details to go back to the standard line.
  8. Check the Preview, then press Save email appearance.

What your customer sees#

Your logo or name at the top, your colours on the header and the button, and your footer at the bottom with your business details. Below it sits the one small Powered by RotaRound line. Text on your colours is set automatically so it stays readable.

What happens next#

Every email from then on uses the new look: visit emails, agreements, price changes and the emails you write in the Mailbox. Emails already sent keep the look they went with.

Your logo also shows in the app's own header.

Good to know#

  • To change the logo later, press Replace logo, Edit logo format or Remove logo in Business details.
  • The standard footer updates by itself when your business details change. A footer you wrote yourself does not.
  • The app's own colours are fixed. Branding changes your emails only.
  • It works the same in automatic and self mode.
